This is one from the Pog archives, and the strange, bewildering and isolating time that was the first Covid lockdown.

Like so many other bands, we suddenly found ourselves without gigs so turned to Facebook to stay in touch and play music. I spent so much of those first weeks listening to live streams, chatting to friends from across the world while the music played.

This is the full recording our the first live stream Bethan and myself did, so there's a lot of nattering with people who had been leaving comments and messages on the chatboard. We were ably assisted by our housemate Nicola on backing vocals, and the ever present Lois the dog. The set list was largely made up of requests, plus a few we fancied playing.

Being able to keep playing and listening to music that year was a godsend. I don't know what we'd have done without it, on either side of the screen.

The lovely illustrations here were drawn in Exeter by our friend Mo Bottomley back in 2015.
